I presume someone has installed that software on your PC to restrict your gambling activities. Why not ask the individual who installed the software to remove it for you?

I think we have had this question some time ago.

In the sites FAQ:

Question

How do I remove GamBlock®?

Answer

GamBlock® has been designed not to be removed during a license period.

That's a powerful bit of software, isn't it? I presume you've got to be pretty desperate to kick the gambling habit if you're using that.

Following Fusion's advice I've just scanned through the FAQ's to see what you can do. In my opinion there is only one way to remove this software safely and that is to re-install Windows from scratch after formatting your hard disk. On the other hand it says that it only lasts as long as the licence period. How long ago did you purchase the licence and which period did you choose, 1, 2 or 3 years?

[/ QUOTE ] Why so? It's a reasonably straight forward process once you've taken the appropriate back ups.

I'm willing to bet that your computer comes with restore discs that bring the computer to the state it left the factory in.

As for backing up there are many methods. CDs are fine if there isnt much. DVDs if you need a bit more kick, or even an external hard disc if your personal files exceed 10GB
