Default Firefox 57.0 Final

The final version can be downloaded from MajorGeeks or FileHorse, although it's not available either via the browser or from Mozilla's site yet:

Download Mozilla Firefox 57.0 Final - MajorGeeks

Firefox Download for Windows / FileHorse.com

I'm checking some functions within FF 57.0 Final ... please bear with me.

My link below is for Page actions (three horizontal dots on Address Bar) >> Take a Screenshot >> Save full page.
As well as providing a link, it is auto-saved to Clipboard ready for pasting.
You can of course save the screenshot as a file before it expires.

64-Bit version was installed per Help >> About Firefox.

I'm impressed ... very fast at loading/switching pages ... all my existing settings have been preserved in Tools >> Options ... so far, no downside.
It's not currently my default browser but now likely to be so ... with Edge a close second.
uBlock Origin continues to work OK here for blocking elements.

I like the little touch where if you don't want to clutter the toolbar, you can add then select options direct from here - akin to the 'hidden icons' in the OS notification area.

I don`t know if you`ve seen this before but at https://www.dailywoke.com/how-to-use...omplete-guide/ is a very comprehensive guide for using uBlock Origin.

Cheers Roger,

I've copy/pasted the contents of your link into a Word document for later perusal at leisure.

Thanks for the useful link Roger, I've bookmarked it.

I could get Firefox 57.0 via the browser, but I'm not sure that I want to. Speed has never been my main criterion, but both Opera and Vivaldi are fast enough for me. I'll probably just use them along with Pale Moon.

Mine has just updated to 57, I preferred it as it was!

Interesting and informative - but I'm not convinced. I have Firefox set not to update. Perhaps I'll try the new version out one day, but not yet.
