I use two Seagate 1TB ext. drives for my images.

Have a Google and you may find them cheaper than 50.

I opted for Seagate as I'd read that someone had problems with Western Digital internal HDDs so wasn't sure if that could extend to their ext. ones.

The majority of my drives (internal/external/NAS & 2.5"/3.5") are Western Digital and been trouble free.
