Sorry Guys for being late in my response, I can excuse 4 days when my laptop FROZE, first time I've known that happen. I had to wait for my grandson to come round, he fixed it in five but also deleted MWB saying it would be conflicting with McAfee BT Virus Protect. He also said that McAfee was best one especially in view of it being on real time.

Madeline: Lovely: Thank you. Maybe MWB had some influence on the subversive results from CCleaner?? Maybe not. I have done very little uninstalling....I'm a hoarder!? But still have 493GB free out of 83.4GB used. Thank you for other comments!

Peru: Thank you. I have always understood that there is no such thing as a stupid question only a stupid answer.

alanrwood: Thank you. A lot of detail there. I see the first thing to do is to create a backup then go through them with Grandson. It does appear so far that to leave well alone is favourite.

Cantrel
: Thank you. No question in your mind then. I'm feeling more convinced as we go!

Brilliant Guys, thank you so much. A little extra knowledge goes a long way. ... I like to know as much as I can about my core day-to-day tasks, and then a working knowledge of the areas around them. How else will we ever learn?
