According to FileHippo, v5.44.6577 is available and that the previous version is 5.44.6575, but on the CCleaner site, the latest version is still shown as v5.44.6575 and my program shows that it's up to date too.

There's similar confusion on the CCleaner v5 thread on the Wilders Security Forums:

I'll be glad when we get to after the 7th July and then hopefully that pop up for the Pro version will stop whenever I open CCleaner.

I'll wait until the program tells me there's an update.

Ditto. It's very irritating that it can't be stopped ~ the ones that nag you by telling you how much space you could save by doing a clean-up are tiresome enough! From gHacks:

CCleaner 5.44 comes with advertising popups - gHacks Tech News

I don`t have that happen at all. However, CCleaner is not set to run at computer startup or to inform me of any updates, which I always do manually.

I don't have CCleaner set to run at startup, but it tells me about updates. This pop-up was about upgrading though, not updates. Perhaps I should just prevent it from accessing the internet as mentioned in the gHacks article!
