Win 10 has its own Windows Defender which some use while others opt for the free version of Avast - I use the paid for Norton Security.

What did you use on Win 7 ?

Yes Windows Defender and Malwarebytes. It's getting good reviews lately, it doesn't pop up idiotic reminders and make silly sounds at me and it's free.

I've been using Avast for some years on previous O/S', so probably stick with that. plus Malwarebytes of course.
