Yep! Iím with you, got a new laptop today which came with Office 2016 trial - hate it! And it works out expensive. So 2007 will be going on that too.

Now thereís a new problem. I started up this new Lappy at 17:10hrs. Itís a mid range HP, itís now 00:35hrs (Sunday am) and it is still updating Windows 10! And all the drivers. I know it has a huge update for the latest release of W10, but this really is quite ridiculous.

Libre Office 6 for me, there's not a lot of difference really. And free of course as previously stated

Last year I was clearing the loft and came across an old Unix laptop which had Windows 3.11 and a version of Word (4, I think) on it, amazingly it all worked. Shame I need a modem to connect it to the internet and I doubt there will be any printer drivers for it - the printer driver installed on it is for a HP Deskjet 560!
