Default Malawarebytes Protection warning

I often see a pop-up message that 'Real-time protection' is disabled on Malwarebytes Premium I click to enable but nothing happens. Trying to manually enable all protection is very difficult. The solution is however very easy I simply restart my computer and all is then fine.

It's not really fine though because Malwarebytes Premium shouldn't be doing what you've described at all. Some articles from Malwarebytes and DummyTech which may help you to get rid of this problem:

Check the Real-Time Protection status | Official Malwarebytes Support

Although the last 2 links have the same title, the articles were written nearly 2 months apart.

I have looked at all the links and found nothing that would resolve the problem easier than a simple reboot. Thanks for your efforts it was appreciated.

Have you tried reinstalling MB Premium on top of the current version to see if that solves the problem?
I had a similar probelm quite some time ago and reinstalling solved it for me.

I have tried reinstalling once and all the options in Madeline's links, however, the error is very infrequent and a simple reboot solves the problem.

Have you tried a clean removal/reinstall? Have a look here:

MBAM Clean Removal Process - Malwarebytes 3 Support Forum - Malwarebytes Forums

Alternatively, you could also try using an uninstaller which gets rid of everything, then reinstall. Either way, take note of the WARNING in the Malwarebytes support post. Just because the problem is veryinfrequent now, it doesn't mean it will stay that way!

Fine, but it's not a definitive solution for everyone. Something's wrong somewhere even if you use an easy stop-gap fix.
