Default Re: Distorted sound

Talk about It won't happen to Me It happened to my brothers Bush Freesat box this morning
The Cure was to Reset The Box back to Default Via a long settings menu
The Picture was good but the sound sounded like it was an old analog telephone and the Volume was reduced on many channels
We did try the Different Sound schemes with no change then Tried updating the Box with No Update available we also tried resets of the Box (No change) then Resetting the box back to factory default which worked Got No new channels
The box is still going good otherwise Brought it Just before the Local Transmitters went Totally Digital about 2010?

Cantrel, I can't say for certain if I tried all tracks on the cd prior to fiddling with things. I'm still persisting with the repeated cleaning in between doing some work. Maybe I'll try a wire brush
