Default New one

well, I got fed up with my MotoG4 playing me up, so decided to go for a reasonably priced contract one instead.

I decided on the Alcidol idol plus (french phone) from CPWHouse, on a monthly tariff.

Would love to hear any comments (good & bad) about this phone if anyone has one?

Presumably you mean Alcatel Idol see https://www.pocket-lint.com/phones/reviews/alcatel

I haven't got one but recently got a Nokia 6 which is OK but not marvellous though 3 times the price of the Idol

Yes That's the one
https://www.pocket-lint.com/phones/r...dget-vr-in-one

It was recommended by the manager at CPWH as my budget isn't high.
It has a VR headset, which TBO I'm not interested in, so will give it to my granddaughter.
I've yet to get my head around it especially the "Boom Button"
Any tips from anyone would be great?

Yes, cheers Mike.
Interesting stuff there, I'll study it more when time permits
also, I found the PDF manual so that'll help too.
It's a shame company's only do manuals on-line.
I used to enjoy sitting in the chair and reading through a small book manual (sad aren't I )
