Default Yoga Book Tablet Halo keyboard

If anyone has one of these tablets, do you know of any way to switch off the predictive text, which seems to have a mind of its own, and manages to add words to your typing.
I think you need to have one to know what I mean!
Thanks.

There is a WU Thread about "Auto correction" and It shows how to disable that (Google Keyboard/Android) So Using either of the 2 links in the answer you might locate roughly where the link is for your device on the Settings menu ?

Thanks for your suggestion
I've looked at the links, but unfortunately the keyboard settings don't allow any autocorrect turnoff in this case.
The tablet has two keyboards, and in normal tablet mode, the Android keyboard let's you do this, but the usual way to use this tablet is as a minilaptop, which makes use of a keyboard in the " lid "known as a Halo keyboard. It's this one that has no settings that affect the auto correct.
Regards.
