Evening all,

Looks like the bad weather has passed us by, but it has certainly made it's presence felt out west. What a terrible time those out there have had. Luck of the draw again it seems.

Morning friends on this WEDNESDAY morning.

Pleased that wind has calmed down, hope it stay like this for a while.

Yes, that was the clip Glenda, it just goes to show, technology wasn’t as advanced in those days as it is now.

Joe Just thinking about the weather forecasters and how they use all their gadgets to determine what’s going to happen.

We have an old mercury barometer which I usual give a ‘tap on’ when leaving the house. It always shows what’s happening to the atmospheric pressure round our way.

My mate says, he just goes out in the morning and holds his finger in the air to feel what it’s doing before donning his raincoat.

One thing’s for sure, it wouldn’t have been necessary to do that when Ophelia visited us. By the way, I think the next one’s called Brian. Hope he’s not as bad.

Right folks, brew time.

All clicks completed for today.

Morning all,

Dull and gloomy here today but better from tomorrow into next week. Glenda you'll hear the chimes loud and clear on Saturday if your weather is similar to here. Wind speeds of 40 - 45mph forecast for Saturday afternoon in central England.

Mike Forecasting has improved from the finger wetting days, but even with today's technology they're loathe to go further than five days.

Joe.

Morning friends on this
THURSDAY

Looks like it’s going to be a calmer day weather-wise, so may make a trip to the Garden Centre later to see what’s new at their farm shop.

Thought I'd post a moveable day of the week this morning for clicking on.

Clicks all done.

Good Morning Friends,

Nothing good to say about the weather, although there's still no wind but I think Brian will remedy that at the weekend.

I haven't heard from Liz for a while, I think an email is in order. If I get a reply I'll report on how she is keeping.

Take care !!!
