Default Comparable ink carts

Good day to all.
I have an Hp 6520 printer been using genuine ink carts for it until now the cost has gone crazy.
Iím thinking of buying some comparable ones but there are so many options to get, just wondering where is the best place to get some carts from.
Any recommendations Please.
Many thanks.

I buy mine off Ebay as cheap as I can find. I've had no problems so far. My printer is an Epson WF-7160. People will say that compatibles are bad for your printer but I haven't had that experience and I have used compatibles for over 20 years. If you are into printing high res pictures, sometimes, the colours are not quite what they should be. Again I haven't had that experience. The only thing you have to be careful of during the guarantee period is that using compatible cartridges will invalidate your guarantee.

Have a look at www.inkrite.co.uk

I have chatted with the owner who has many years in the photography and printing industry so not a fly by night outfit. I have no personal association with the firm and of course this opinion is mine only.

Other outlets for this type of product are of course available and on the web.

I've always used genuine Epson cartridges, but I see no harm in using compatibles if they work OK. I saw this article recently:

Epson orders resellers to stop selling third-party ink on eBay in patent row

Yes they tried that before and failed dismally but no doubt sooner or later Epson and the other printer manufacturers will get their way until then I will continue to use compatibles. If they do manage to get their way then I will fill my own. Lots of ways around the stupidly expensive option.

In a small way, they already have. There's a report in issue 514 of CA on page 8:
Quote:
eBay removes cheap cartridges after Epson pressure

Printer manufacturer Epson has been criticised for asking eBay to take down cartridges made by other manufacturers and sold by retailers.

These third-party cartridges are compatible with Epson's printers and usually cheaper than those sold by the company...
There's more which you can read in the article!

We buy ink made for HP printers and refill the cartridges ourselves.

While I haven't needed to buy any for a while, I got my compatibles for my Epson printer from www.stinkyink.com which were reasonably priced at the time.
