I've updated my Win 7 but 6894 wasn't offered, so they must have pulled it.

Presumably they've pulled it only for people with AMD processors as mentioned in the following post by calimanco:

http://forum.webuser.co.uk/showpost....03&postcount=2

I've still got the update installed on each of our 3 PCs which have Intel processors. There's a link to another site in calimanco's post and part of what it says there is this
Quote:
Currently, Microsoft has stopped the distribution of 9 patches to the AMD platform (mainly Win40 KB4056892 and Win7 KB4056894), and AMD is working together to solve.

Because in a few hours is Microsoft's Tuesday patch days, do not know if there will be a new patch to save AMD processor users.
Where it says 'Win40, I think it means Win10'!

I got that update on the 2nd Feb.

That update was to counter the problems some had with KB4056892

I've since had one for Flash Player.

Interesting as I had KB4056892 successfully installed on 9th January with no problems suffered whatsoever.
Odd to receive an update to counter problems I never had with that update?

I had no problems with that update either.

MS stuck a few more bits into 8258 besides a patch - https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/...date-kb4058258
