You don't have any version of MRT.exe in the System32 folder ?

It doesn't appear as a Windows Update when checking for updates ?

Type mrt into the Search Bar.
R/click the mrt entry and click Open file location.

In the System32 folder, r/click the highlighted MRT file and click Properties.
Click the Details tab to see when it was modified.

Have you tried the manual download from the Windows Update Catalogue that I've posted ?

One way to find if you have a MSRT installed is to go to Installed Updates and enter KB890830 in the top right search box.

If it finds one, it will have its date of installation.

Indeed I did, it scanned and installed OK No faults called

Still no change on the Log list Just the" Quality updates" still showing
Feels like its glitched on this evidence ?
Have the stable Windows 10 Creators Fall edition available from 17th October and that will refresh the core code as well as the new features added therefore it should see the log displaying again. Don't think System Restore would make any difference, as I've never looked at that list for several months

Why not try a repair install then which may reinstate the hidden update section ?

I don't know why MS have set Update history in this way when it seems totally unnecessary.

Any of the answers here apply ? >

Might have been interesting if you'd installed an older version, whether you would then have been offered the latest.
