If you are talking about just the OS then I would think the ISO from https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/soft...load/windows10 will eventually be updated to include the Oct. update.

It will currently create install media for 1703.15063.0 which is the CU and this will go onto a 4GB DVD or USB.

Not to worry Roger. It's a pity that MBARW won't work alongside the free version of MWB like MBAE does.

I use CryptoPrevent to (hopefully) avoid ransomware in the first place, but I also make regular system images on an external hard drive as mentioned above by Tom.

If it is as reported that MS are withdrawing its system image creation in Win 10 after the Oct. update...

The more I read about Windows 10, the less I want ever to have it.

Interesting articles those Madeline. Perhaps you could post them in the Win 10 Section as they come along so it updates us as to what's in the offing with the Fall update looming. I know you are not a Win 10 fan, (yet), but I think the info would be useful to some of us who are not well up enough on tech to be developers for Microsoft ( I forget the actual term for these ) but like to see what is going on before it arrives. I have bookmarked the links for future ref anyway. Thanks

By way, sorry to go off topic on this.
