Default Logging in with TSB

For the past few days whenever I try to log in with TSB, I enter my user ID and correct password and a message appears telling me that I have entered incorrect details.
Below this message is a link "Having trouble logging in" and this link opens a page asking for my first and last names and date of birth - entering these opens a new page with two choice options to reset your password or other details, but I ignore these and click on the link to "Return to log in", when the log in page opens I enter my User ID and password again and it works!
Hope that this might help other TSB customers.
Have sent an email to CEO at TSB, but will be surprised if I get a reply.

I've just tried it and got pretty much straight in but initially I get blank grey screen when clicking on Log In and then the screen dims and greys momentarily when going from screen to screen

It's done this for me ever since they "fixed" it - if they ever have.

I used to get these "Grey" screens a couple of weeks ago, but have not seen them since.

Logged in OK this morning, but when I got to my account statement it was overlaid with the dreaded Grey, which stopped me from doing anything else - not even the Log Out link worked, I solved this by clicking on the "Back" arrow at top left and this got rid of the grey overlay and everything was back to normal.

Tried to log in again at 09.45 - message came up "Service unavailable due to maintenance, please try again later".
Will it ever be sorted?
Read in today's paper that TSB are going to sue Sabadell for millions over this fiasco - hope that they pass on some of this to customers!

From BBC Business News:

TSB computer fiasco enters second week - BBC News
Quote:
Frustrated TSB customers are still locked out of their accounts as the bank's IT fiasco enters a second week.

Some have suggested the system is "going from bad to worse" as they are denied access to online banking and the bank's mobile app.

It has been announced that TSB chief executive Paul Pester will face questions from MPs on the influential Treasury Committee on Wednesday.

The bank said it was "working around the clock" to fix the problems.

Worries over payments remain as error messages are shown to some customers trying to move money.

From The Register:

Newsworthy Brit bank TSB is looking for a head of infrastructure The Register
Quote:
It's really high profile, you know

An exciting job advert has mysteriously appeared that is seeking a techie to head up infrastructure at TSB, just days after the bank's monumental and ongoing IT cockup began.

The Register has asked TSB what the recruitment means for current infrastructure head Damon Yates, who is still listed as holding the role on LinkedIn a job he began back in November 2016. We also enquired if the new vacancy was in any way related to the bank's tech meltdown.

The ad was posted on Wednesday evening (BST), Day 5 of the online banking services shutdown that began at 4pm on 20 April.

I've managed to get in this morning but it was slow.

I got the not available due to maintenance error page when I clicked on the Log out button - so perhaps I was lucky.

I saw these articles on the BBC Business News site earlier:

TSB solves problem with standing orders - BBC News
Quote:
TSB said problems with standing orders affecting some customers had been resolved.

The bank, which has been grapping with problems following an IT switchover, said any scheduled payments had now been processed.

Some customers complained on Tuesday that payments had failed to complete, with some raising concerns over standing orders.

TSB bosses face questions from MPs on Wednesday about the IT problems.
TSB bosses set for showdown with MPs - BBC News
Quote:
Furious TSB customers are still facing account failures ahead of an examination of the bank's bosses by MPs on the influential Treasury Committee.

The session comes as some customers battled problems with scheduled payments and online banking on Tuesday.

One customer's savings account claimed his balance had been minus 1.1m.

TSB chief executive Paul Pester will be one of three bank chiefs giving evidence to Parliament later on Wednesday.

He will be joined by TSB chairman Richard Meddings, and Miquel Montes, chief operating officer at TSB's Spanish owner, Sabadell.

I finally got a reply from Paul Pester yesterday - he said that he would get one of his staff to contact me about the grey overlay that keeps appearing.
When they do get in contact I will tell them about various other problems, such as the "Log Out" button disappearing.
