Default Facebook Deactivations

is it possible to "deactivate" your fb account for one person and one person only ?

I'm not talking about unfriending them, what I mean is continuing on facebook but when one person and one person only on a friends list sees your profile as deactivated ?

You can either block them but that's as good as them thinking you've unfriended them, or - when you create a new post/status, you can stop them from seeing your posts.

When you create a new post - click on the Friends drop-down box and select Friends Except....and add their name.

its actually "deactivate". Someone on my friends list is actually "deactivated" but is also listing as last seen etc 3 hours ago or whatever. He must be deactivating himself, activating, then deactivating again for some reason. Its the only thing I can think of.

Sorry, I misunderstood your original post, I read it as if you wanted to hide posts from someone.

Could be as you suggest above or that they hide posts from you.

My other thought is that if you can see they've been online, is that they're using Messenger only? That's the only way I know if someone has been online. Messenger is a separate app from FB if used on a tablet/mobile.
