Question "No Memory/Disk Space to Run Word"

I can't seem to open ANY word document, or load the program in Microsoft Office Word 2007 or even run in safe mode nor PowerPoint, Publisher, or any other piece of software from the office suite and am met with errors such as:

I have searched online and used the Office diagnostic tool, yet to no avail, can't find a relateable solution.

I suppose we need to ask the obvious questions first; How much memory does your machine have and how much spare disk space?

If your answer to greysts' question is "Enough" then defrag the HDD and see if this MS Fixit will resolve your VM problem.

It may be worth reviewing the programs/files/photos that you have on disk to see if you really need them on there if you're getting low on disk space and if so, then investing in an external HDD and/or increasing the RAM if your machine has capacity will help.

Closing down any unnecessary files, apps or other programs while using Word will also help.

Check Task Manager/Processes to see those which are heavy users and if not needed, then you can End Process.

Double clicking on the top one will sort them into highest first for easier checking.
