Default Gmail interface launches today - some advice

How to Geek has some useful advice on the new look to Gmail which has now been released. You can revert to the old look if you wish, which is worth knowing.

Yahoo Mail has recently had a new look. I reverted back very quickly.

Not a bad effort, 2 things, the new right hand hollow sidebar also has the Gmail Task/App links (addons) ..No Group Test /review on these also there is a New link to Google Keep which I cannot use well. (Not the Full App)
Rather use Google Drive which stores a lot of odd saves booknarks and Which also Links through to Google Sheets /Slides/Docs and several dozen Google /3rd party Apps, and editors including Pixlr Editor For Photos (Needs Flash installed)
Hope they will let you use that option in future (Worth a Tutorial)
FYI The Apps list menu in full goes by the moniker G Suite Marketplace which has some Premium apps as well as Free Apps https://gsuite.google.com/marketplace/
and has a very large in contents size menu (again worth a review)

Mine doesn't look any different with no bells or whistles.

Some advice from Sophos' Naked Security:

Gmail users, here’s how (and why) you should set up prompt-based 2FA – Naked Security
