Good afternoon friends,

Mike,
you beat me to the White rabbits. We are in week 40 Before we know it we'll be celebrating New Years Eve.
I must admit I used Google to find the answer to your Japanese ship puzzle. I thought it MUST be something to do with the flag but not being familiar with the flag I looked at Google images. The result is ......

......that the flag is the same whichever way it is flying, so the thief must have been the shipmate who said he was attending to the upside down flag.
So..........I cheated.
The answer to your puzzle today is.........
The blind man can speak so he just asked for the sunglasses.
No cheating for that one.
TB,
I bet you're asleep yet again. You're like my laptop. If no one touches you for 10 minutes you go to sleep.
Clive,
aren't you tempted to cheat with the brain teasers ???

Click the white rabbits please.

Clicked.
Take care.

Good Evening FRIENDS,

🤦*♂️ Facepalming!!

egg: A lovely sunny morning here yesterday (not today) methinks you should have gone to the car boot. You do understand the psychology of the venture of course?
Here's a little story of a woman who was browsing at a car boot sale. ''Oh, what a beautiful cushion'', she said, ''those colours would go so well in my front room. It would go just perfectly.'' The woman looked at the 'booter' and said, ''How much do you want for it?''. ''How about 20p?'' the 'booter' said. She looked at it again. 'Nah,' she said, and walked away.
This is the peculiar psychology of the car boot sale, with which regular 'booters' are familiar. Ask too much, and punters will move on. Ask too little, and they might still move on. You should always haggle. Just imagine that the lady could have had that beautiful cushion for 10p!! or not!

I love the bunnies!

I am grateful that I finally got a response from my self inflicted puzzle of my dilemma concerning my waking and sleeping, thank you egg. ......... but I don't understand. Que?

At 12:47, egg, you were correct!!!!

Clive does not 'cheat' on our puzzles! He is all for self improvement. His other posts elsewhere vouch for that.

Now why am I not surprised??

Mike: I know the Japanese Flag, but I was asleep!

'Sunglasses' I knew! asleep again! The 'old money' review was most interesting, thanks.

I'm okay thanks, can't complain, well I can, but it doesn't get me anywhere!

FratPark: Hope you're good.

Take Care !!!

Good morning friends on this rather cloudy TUESDAY morning.

George I remember that film, former marshal Will Kane (Gary Cooper) and Grace Kelly who played in High NOON

Here’s another one: What five letter word becomes shorter when you add two letters to it?

I must admit, there are occasions when I have to ‘Google’ the answers, but I did know that one that George posted regarding the word ‘Noon.’

Glenda Yes, how time seems to fly by these days. Believe it or not, we heard someone setting fireworks off last night.

We’ve still got to get Halloween out of the way yet.

Clive Hope you are still getting sunshine in Surbiton. Our weather in this part of Derbyshire has now got a lot cooler.

Right friends, all clicks now completed for today.

Good afternoon friends,

After a dull start that threatened rain, the dark clouds have now passed over, it's light but VERY windy. I have a line full of washing that the persistent wind is doing it's best to dislodge the clothes pegs from. It IS drying it though.

Good Afternoon FRIENDS,

Sunshine between dark clouds.

FratPark: You were up late last night! I like it, seems like a race now??
You are quick with the answers. The 'short' riddle from Mike was brilliant I doubt I would have got the answer however long I took.

Mike
: Oh! we all remember 'High Noon' one great Classic. Well answered.
Hope all's well with Mr & Mrs Mike. Definitely getting into cooler climes now.

egg: Well, why would I want to get up out of bed to go into the other room to fall asleep in the armchair? It's not as though there is a system that consists of the development, acquisition, maintenance and use of complex systems.

Now you better get on with the ironing.

Take Care !!!

You are trapped in a room and the only way to get out is by one of 2 doors. The first door leads to a room with a pool of boiling water that will boil you in seconds.
The second door leads to a room with solar powered laser beams that will cut you to pieces. Which door should you go to?
