Good afternoon friends,

Mike,
I think George is taking the winter hibernation thing a bit too seriously.
I too loved the video you posted. Don Estelle was a lovely singer as well as being very funny, as was Harry Secombe.

It's been on the radio news all morning about this exceptional landing during Storm Callum at Bristol Airport.
Brilliant,
but apparently it's not unusual for the pilot to land this way in those conditions.

Good Afternoon Friends,

Rain now stopped, thought the pilot did very well.

Here is some music you may like:
Quote:
Pavarotti singing 'It's a Man's World' with the Godfather of Soul, James Brown in Pavarottiís home town of Modena, Italy in 2002

Luciano Pavarotti and James Brown - 'It's A Man's World'

All the best,

Clive

Good evening friends.

Glenda I couldn't open that last video you sent re the cross winds at Bristol Airport owing to a copyright claim by Mraviationguy

I did however see them on this site; HERE taken on the 12th of October.

They certainly have a lot of skill those pilots don't they!

Good Evening FRIENDS,

Mike: What happened to yesterday??
Brilliant puzzle you set up. I only got it because I recognised the format, very similar to a previous one. A bit like crosswords, if you do them regularly enough by the same author you get used to their way of thinking.

'Whispering Grass', sung by Don Estelle, is a long time favourite of mine.
If you ask Alexa to play Don Estelle he starts with 'Whispering Grass' followed by a few other oldies.

Did you know that Alexa has now teamed up with Cortana?

I've been looking for your recipe for cooking eggs in the microwave. Will you please repeat it for me or just give me the number, thanks. I'm ready for it now before more eggs go off!!

egg: I can't play your video 😢. Apparently it's been pulled for copyright claims. Aah! I just came back after seeing Mike's video. Thanks Mike I don't understand how they can land without flipping over!

Winter hibernation? If only they would leave me alone??

'Down Came the Rain', I didn't think much to that either. I found it very bad sound production screaming, shouting. I couldn't understand any of it. And I don't need new speakers, Don's songs were great.

FratPark
: I liked Pavarotti but I don't know much about James Brown and I didn't like the song much. That particular concert was dated 2002 but I felt somewhat sad to see him sitting in a chair for his song.

mrmatt: We can't expect much more weather now except rain to be followed soon by snow. Not a pleasant outlook unless you are a skier.

Take Care !!!

The last riddle you all answered differently but all were very plausible and should be considered correct. BUT the official answer is: 'EQUALS'.
Take away my first letter and I remain the same. Take away my last letter and I remain unchanged. Remove all my letters and I'm still me.
a little teaser: What is the difference between here and there?

Good Morning Friends

It is sunny at the moment.

As for the latest teasers

The letter one I thought about and because I am waiting for Postman Pat to deliver today's post I think the answer is Postman.

It could just be one has an extra letter added at the start.

All the best,

Clive

I would suggest if you delete the T there wouldnít then be any difference.

As for the other one, Iíll go along with Cliveís solution ... Postman Pat.

Concerning the egg recipe George, I canít remember which one I posted before.

But to see the container which we use, go into Google and type ďCeramic Microwave Egg CookerĒ which is similar to the one we use in the microwave for scrambled eggs.

When I do any, I break two eggs into it and add a little milk, then using a whisk mix well, and depending on the heat of your microwave give it about 40 seconds.

Then carefully remove the ceramic dish, being careful because it will be very hot, and give it another quick whisk before returning it to the microwave for another 30 seconds (app.)

depending on your taste, to complete the task. I love them with a little salt and pepper on toast.

Glenda Hope allís well in your part of the world. Out of curiosity, how do you make scrambled eggs?

Right friends, Iíve rambled on enough. All clicks completed.

MIKE
