Default New Firefox browser seems to be having problems

I have always liked "Firefox" but the latest download is continually coming up with a report that it cannot connect with the site I am asking for, and then gives a possible solution, i.e. clear cookies, etc, etc. Anyone else having this problem?????

It's been okay for me so far, 61.0.1. But I do have mine set to delete cookies and history when I close Firefox.

Can you post the URL and then we can check ?

Can you get the website with say IE or any other browser ?

You can check to see if the website is down by putting the URL into https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

No problem here either with version 61.0.1 (64-bit) and mine is not set to delete anything on closing it down.

Is it just on one specific site or various sites? What happens if you try to go to the site(s) with Firefox in its Safe Mode? Is it the same without any add-ons enabled?

Thanks all. I decided to rip the old Firefox out and get a new copy. Having done this I was met by this warning. This download was from Google. I chose the "Just download" option rather than the Store given.
Also I have just downloaded Kaspersky 2018 Total Security. Could it be this that is causing a conflict?

" Your connection is not secure.
The owner of accounts.firefox.com has configured their web site improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this web site.
This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to specify that Firefox only connect to it securely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate ".

Regarding your queries, in the main the old Firefox worked but occasionally it would go to the warning I described previously. I have run Malwarebytes and my AV but can find nothing there or in my programmes.

Copy & paste the URL in question and I'll see what Norton makes of it both in IE and FF.

This is what I get in FF but I just get the blue screen without anything on it in IE - possibly because it's a FF page.

Try yours in Safe Mode with Networking to isolate Kaspersky.
