Default Belarc Adviser query

When I ran Belarc Advisor it reported that Security Update KB4048955 was missing, but when I looked at Update History it showed it as installed on 30/11/2017.
Normally I rely on Belarc Advisor, but this has made be a bit more cautious.

When I had Belarc installed in Win 7, it used to tell me I was missing an update from July 2013 and that was in 2015.

Not sure if that was because after each month's updates I run Disk Cleanup as an admin which removes obsolete/superseded updates.

If your update shows as being installed then I'd just ignore it.

This was one of the reasons why I uninstalled Belarc.

As Belarc has been helpful in the past I shall carry on with it for now.

There was an update to the Belarc defs today to v2017.12.4.2. Did Belarc claim that you had a missing update before that or afterwards? Maybe it'll be OK after the next update - they're fairly frequent.

As Belarc always checks for updates when I run it, I assume that it runs the latest version.
The error seems to be that it was checking against Microsoft Security List dated 14/11/17, so did not know about the 30/11/17 update.
I ran Belarc this morning and it reports all security is up to date.

Looks like they've caught up with each other then!
