Not too long ago I used ASC and found it to be very good indeed.

However, for some reason or other Malwarebytes Premium, which I also have on my laptop, took a total dislike to ASC and sent it to the "sin bin". This was reported on the MB forums too.

Unfortunatley I no longer can use ASC although I have to say I have not tried installing it again.

I used to use ASC 5 but got sick of it popping up and telling me my machine had performance problems when all it was, was the natural accumulation of temp files.

Anyway I dumped it.

I would check your Startup items to see if that is enabled as it could be checking files which could slow things down.

Have you been using it to clean the registry ?

If you have then use its restore facility to see if there's any improvement to your boot times.
