Default Re: Sony Vaioshell has stopped working

I've not had the time to reply before now, sorry, I cannot right click/Properties\disable Malwarebytes from my Task Bar. I uninstalled it - my posts #43 and #45 and didn't say that I had re-installed it. Altho I uninstalled it, it is still a service in System Configuration that I stopped. I obviously have not done a complete uninstal or it is another version running. Afraid I will have to come back when I can as I have got to stop now. Thanks for your help.

MBAM has a clean up utility which will remove all traces of it but to prevent any orphaned files remaining, go into msconfig and if it's still listed in there, ensure its box is checked before you run the clean up.

Select Save on the download and then run it from the Downloads folder.

Hi Tom,
I uninstalled Malwarebyes and reinstalled it and reinstalled Super Anti Spyware. Unless I disable these two services and the two Vaio services, VU Agent and Vaio Content Folder Watcher, that have been giving me gyp I am going to keep getting the "Vaioshell not working" error message. From what I understand the services VU Agent and Vaio Content Folder Watcher, were bundled in with a Vaio update and I guess that is why I cannot find either of them : and remove them for good :.
