Default Mozilla Makes It Easier to Hide Tabs in Firefox and Unclutter Your Tab Bar

An article from Bleeping Computer:

Mozilla Makes It Easier to Hide Tabs in Firefox and Unclutter Your Tab Bar
Quote:
Mozilla is making it easier to hide tabs and clean up crowded tab bars, helping users better manage their tabs and keep an organized work environment.

The issue that Mozilla is trying to address is called tab cluttering, and it affects all browsers, regardless of vendor. Tab cluttering happens when users open too many tabs in their browser, so much so that the tab bar becomes too small and the browser ends up cutting off the title and sometimes even the favicon.

Well you CAN set the size of the tab and then regardless it will stay the same width......

I can set width, etc on MyIE2 (Max/Min width and max characters)

I assume if I set the MIN width to something large,it wouldnt squeeze them down.... (But it would be even more messy then)

I have it to to 65 for max width and 2 for Min width and 15 characters max but I dont think the character max matters because it wont go larger than 65 (7 characters are all that shows before it shows... with my current setting (HOVERING OVER IT SHOWS THE WHOLE THING))

It may not be the same in the latest version of Firefox as it is in your elderly MyIE2 browser Dude!
