Thinking of signing up to NordVPN.

Silly question though, is the full payment to be taken now, then again in 3 years time or will I pay monthly $2.75?

It looks like a monthly payment. Question do you really need this product?

If you have a decent antivirus and a firewall that should suffice.

I made a one off payment of 89 dollars which added three years to my current subscription. A bargain price.

If you want the cheapest deal then it is one payment ($99 if I remember correctly) which covers you for 3 Years.

I thought VPNs concealed your online activities and anti-virus/firewalls protected when online?

Not so. They simply encode the data and hide your true location (IP addreess)

NordVPN (like most VPN providers) don't keep logs of their subscribers internet activity.

This is the very definition of concealing internet activity.

Yes of course this is an important point as not all VPNs are as anonymous as this.

As a brand spanking new subscriber to this excellent magazine - and its Forum - I'm keen to set myself up with a VPN.
Having missed the last update from the magazine's advisors, could you tell me their top choices?
Ex-Portsmouth lad, eh? I once lived in Kipling Road in Hilsea.

Having decided upon a VPN I assume that I still need to pay for and use, the ISP that I'm currently using.
Would a helpful soul confirm this is so?
Thank you.
