To be fair there is nowt wrong with it but I just don't like losing my extensions, the main one I miss is 'classic theme restorer' which allowed me to move the tabs from the top down to under the bookmarks tool-bar, I hate them on top!

I'm sure there's nothing wrong with it as such, but I got out of the habit of using Firefox when they started using "Australis" - v29.0 I think. I'm much more used to the 3 browsers I mentioned before, even though I'd used Firefox and had it set as my default browser since v1.0!

This is why I can't be bothered with using Firefox Quantum, at least not yet!

@ beefy

Some suggestions below for you to look at - none of them shows "Not compatible with Firefox Quantum" so I assume that they are!

To replace IE View:

Open With – Add-ons for Firefox

Open in IE – Add-ons for Firefox

Open in IE™ – Add-ons for Firefox

I use the first one myself on both Pale Moon and Firefox and it works well.

To replace Simplefill:

AutoFill Forms (WebExtension) – Add-ons for Firefox

To replace VTzilla:

Link Virus Check - Security Plus – Add-ons for Firefox

I use this one and it works fine. You could also check out this VirusTotal site where you can upload files and URLs and get them checked out by a lot of AV programs. It might be worth bookmarking the site.

I like it so far, quick, has some of the "Vivaldi" attributes so you can re-open any of the previous sites you have visited from the Home page. I can go straight onto Web User forum.
I didn't use many add-ons so no loss there for me. I need to look around it but as a long user of FF, I think they have made a good start.

Could be they're working on a built-in Form Autofill for V59
