Lightbulb Why click(Delete) when you can Swipe(Delete) Notifications in the W10 Action Centre ?

A small but useful feature for Desktop Notifications alerts has appeared on the W10 Fall Creators update

I previously had to click on the "X" to delete items in the Windows Action Centre notifications panel But they have made each link into a draggable box. So all I do it drag/swipe it to the right, and it's gone. Now takes me about 2 seconds to review & clear this board (On a busy day),and they still have retained the "X" Close link.

Far better just to turn the idiot thing off along with that stupid addition Cortana.

Arrow Re: Why click(Delete) when you can Swipe(Delete) Notifications in the W10 Action Cent

Problem is with Cortana You can Mute It But no Remove/uninstall Guessing a Registry Flag to alter?
2nd The Action Centre also could be a Registry Flag too for removal ?

Never (and won't) Try out the God Mode Mod App for Windows 10 In among all their tick boxes these 2 Items will be covered?
Anyone have this running to confirm my suspicions?

Cortana is listed under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ActivatableClasses\Package\Corta naListenUIApp_10.0.15063.0_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2 txyewy And needs an expert to find the Activation /Display flags in the Maze of Umpteen sublinks

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Extensions\ContractId\Windows.Ap pService\PackageId\Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_1.9.6 .16299_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy

And that's just skimmed off the Top of the Listings

The Action Centre Item "Might" be easier to deal with?
There is a Command Flag sublink point on this Link
Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppXak1hygz1tpjjnxhr1pw tcgnkpr24r5e7

Sublink: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppXak1hygz1tpjjnxhr1pwtcgnkpr24 r5e7\Shell\open\command
However, I do not know the value # number to input here (or its consequences)
For the Record (I checked!) Neither of these Items are listed as default app /Programs Therefore impossible to remove>And The "Turn on Windows Features" box does not have these listed either ...So It's a Registry Flag change

This link gives advice on how to stop Cortana. It worked before the latest update so hopefully, it will still work
