Default malwarebytes

Hi,
Many moons ago, I purchased a lifetime licence for 1 PC for Malwarebytes. This is still active and working.
A few years ago, I purchased a licence for 3 PCs, and this I renew every year.

Today, I have received an email telling me that "as a valued customer I can still protect 3 PCs by deactivating the one I don't use, and activating a new one"

Well I thought I already had this, as I deactivated my old laptop (the 3rd of 3) and activated on a new laptop...

So what have a gained

Default Re: malwarebytes

Maybe it's because they cover a wider range of devices these days. There's some info here:

One license key for Windows, Android, and macOS... | Official Malwarebytes Support

Basically you haven't really gained anything, but this email will have been sent out to all of their "valued customers" so that everyone is aware of being able to transfer licenses as required.
