Default Continuous reboot loop

After trying to reset the laptop without it's administrator password, it finished resetting and then continually rebooted with the error "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error.....". After looking for a solution to this I changed a number in the registry and it then didn't have that error again. Now it is still rebooting, beginning with the logo, then to a Windows logo with a spinning thing and the word "Preparing", then to "Installing Windows 64%". Each of these lasts about 2 seconds and it keeps going. Is there a way I can make Windows finish it's installing and be able to use it? This is what happened before http://forum.webuser.co.uk/showthread.php?t=150772 . Help is appreciated.
