Question Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus

My Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus came without any use instructions, and I could not see how to drag down from the top bar showing icons until I read on another thread that someone had a similar problem with their mobile phone and that the solution was to scroll down using two fingers instead of only one.
My other tablet (Hudl) does not have this problem - is this common to all Lenovo tablets?

Just out of interest I searched for 'Lenovo yoga tab 3 user manual' and found plenty of links including a free pdf.

I did try to post a link but it did not work.

Have download the manual (26 pages) - nowhere does it mention that to swipe needs two fingers.

Don't know for sure but does the Yoga Tab 3 have a kids mode? If it does and it can be disabled try that otherwise although a factory reset might be needed to kick some sense into it.

Before doing that though turn the tablet to change the screen orientation and see if the notifications pull down in any of the different screen layouts. If it does work in other orientations suspect the digitiser screen being faulty.

They can be DIY replaced but are a bit tricky if not experienced probably not advisable if not good with fiddly bits and delicate connections.

One last thought have you got an anti-theft App installed, as I they sometimes have the option to lock the notification screen pull down.
