Default Security warning pop-up

Hi All, I am running Win.7 on an Acer Aspire laptop and after a factory restore I now find that whenever I go into my browser (Google) I get two pop-ups both saying precisely the same as follows:- Security Warning. Do you want to view only the web page content that was delivered securely? These pop-ups are beginning to be a darned nuisance and whilst I appreciate the security aspect I would like to get rid of them. If anyone can tell me how to do this I would be grateful. Many thanks.

Which browser are you using? Google is a search engine, not a browser. As you've done a System Restore I would guess it's Internet Explorer.

Hi Spencer - my problem is solved! There were 101 updates to install last night as I went to 'shut down' and it took about an hour to install them but the nice thing is that this morning the irritating Security Notices have disappeared! Many thanks for your interest.
