Question Free Hit Counter

Hi,
My Web host 1&1 has stopped supporting Frontpage extensions and so my hit counter no longer works.
Does any reader know of a free hit counter that works without advertising or whatever?

Thanks

Have been using StatCounter (basic is free) for many years now. No adverts, No problems, and gives you a lot of information

Instead of having a counter on your website why not install Google Analytics. A great bit of free gear!

Thanks Colin,

I think I took your advice on a previous occasion and installed Google Analytics.
And as you say its great.
But I still want an actual visible hit counter.
I'm sure Google could include a counter if they wanted.
Will you ask them or me(g)?

StatCounter does offer you the option to make your counter visible or invisable
