You can't buy an official Win 7 now as MS don't supply anything Win 7.

You could probably buy an OEM version online but you run the risk of having your fingers burned as to whether it will work or...

It should have the model number on the underside, but you can go to Dell Support where it can auto find the details.

Click on Detect PC

I never got the Win 7 one to work.

If anyone requires a Win 7 install disk and they don't have a valid retail key to download from MS, I will usually burn them a couple and send them off to them...

Those cmds will reset the update components but won't do anything to get you back in.

I'm not sure if the cmd bootrec /rebuildbcd will link any other drives, but it depends upon which cmd prompt...
